Chuck:
I bought the black one. The "leatherettes" are different patterns on the
black and silver ones. The one on the silver body is a little more
classic. I have no aversion to the pattern on the black bodies (obviously).
The silver one looks much nicer in person than in the pictures. It
probably goes better with the silver lenses, too.
After a week (!), I'm sort of wondering if I should have got the silver
one (all but one of my OMs are silver/champagne, so I don't mind that
look). If (OK, probably "when") I buy one or more of the primes, they'll
likely end up being silver, which may look a little "funny". Anyway,
it's too late to change, so silver on black it will have to be.
