I haven't upgraded since the scanner hasn't been used for a long time.
It also can't be used at the moment since its normal resting place has
been usurped by a new computer until the new one has everything moved
over from the old. Looks like I will have to pay more attention to
reading release notes rather than *indexed* formal docs. Unfortunately,
lack of complete documentation is often par for the course in one man shops.
