It may not be Chuck. My experience is based on primarily the Olympus
E620, E3 & E5.
Thom Hogan makes the same recommendation for Nikon VR systems. He has a
great explanation of how the VR system works and why the recommendation.
While the details are different, most of the basics apply to most
