I suppose the break point is different for everyone.
I wished the A650 and G11 didn't have viewfinders, but would be unhappy if the
E-M5 didn't have one. OTOH, the E-PL1,
without viewfinder, has been fine the few times I've used it, and I know I'd be
more bothered by IQ than the lack of a
viewfinder if I had to use it as back-up to the E-M5.
I'm pretty sure I'd be happy with the EOS-M without viewfinder (assuming
everything else was OK), as the point of it
seems to me to be small size and weight.
