Hmmm. That is interesting behavior. Just a thought but one you might
cogitate on a bit. The difference between the Windows All Programs
listing and a normal file directory is that the All Programs directory
will close itself if the mouse pointer moves off the All Programs
window. A normal file directory listing window will stay there forever
regardless of where the mouse is.
Perhaps the mouse pointer is not actually on the window even though the
pointer might indicate that. Try a real usb mouse if you're using the
track pad or a different mouse is you're already using a usb mouse... or
whatever is required to change to a different mouse input. If a
different mouse doesn't help you may have some file corruption or a
hardware problem. Maybe the mouse is "stuttering" at high speed.
