Hi Chuck,
I wouldn't advise climbing the poles. The ones we retrieved so many years
ago were from old poles that were left on the ground. I noticed that the
one I pictured has a small chip in the bottom flange, so that may be the
reason it was left behind.
The blue and green ones are definitely more decorative!
