Not at all, they corrected the way his words had been interpreted by others!
As I said on 19 August:
"Reading Watanabe's words more carefully, I may have mis-represented his
position - he did not mention a "new 4/3 body", merely "a body to deliver
the focusing performance expected by users of the Top Pro lens series". That
must be a reference to the limited range of 4/3 lenses compatible with
Imager AF - CD AF. Maybe he means a m4/3 body capable of PD AF?"
The issue isn't their credence, but how credulous we are.
