This was the first time I've been to our local Fly-in. It seems to be
gaining popularity. Sure was much more enjoyable than some of the nearby
big time airshows like Abbotsford.

and much enjoyable socializing...which is why I didn't get much info
about the planes :) There are some serious collectors here which helps
draw out of proportion to our small population. We are also a popular
fly in for lunch or dinner destination. And there is the commuter set
since it is faster to commute by air to the Puget Sound region and
farther (Deer Valley, UT) than to commute by auto from the burbs. Plus,
a local rain shadow ensures clear skies when the rest of the area is
cloudy. Note clouds on the periphery.
Jim, As far as the Nanchang/Yak there seemed to be several similar
planes hence the duplication. e.g.:
