The mist and the man suggest some form of a struggle and I saw the large body 
of water and sky as a distraction from those interacting elements.  So I took 
them out.  Also I think there is more perceived depth in my crop.  I realize 
that not everyone likes the panorama format.


I would download the image and enlarge it a bit, no idea why Photobucket 
displays it that small.  It looks twice as big when I open it in GIMP.
