Same here. Interesting how the cockpit view of the formation is so
different, making it look like a swarm of hundreds of aircraft. Although 27
aircraft of one type in formation is presumably somewhat hard for today's
RAF! No. I don't mean to question the skill of the aircrew, rather the
procurement effort.

I really liked this video. I have some connection, in that I was the first
solo student in the Hawk trainer when I undertook the advanced training at
RAF Valley in 1977; I was not in this formation, but it made me quite sad
that I wasn't and that I will never be in such a show again.
But the video of the practices is good, and the resulting formation pretty
well perfect (E II R -- Elizabeth the Second Regina) and I really like the
music (so I bought the album, Fun. Some Nights).
