Until switching to Win7, I was able to use some old SW to create
profiles and developed some that did a decent job making BW prints. Now
I have been relying on Epson's canned profiles, color only so far, but I
have been very happy with them. I will just have to see how they do. I
have always printed BW in RGB mode.
Under the best of circumstances, the tones are just acceptable, but it
depends a lot on the image.
