As has been mentioned here before, the conventional exposure suggested
for the full moon is called "moony f/11" vs. "sunny f/16" for
terrestrial daylight shots. If you convert your 1/400 sec, ASA100, f/6
parameters to a 1/100 sec equivalent you'll find that the equivalent
aperture for that shutter speed is pretty much spot on at f/12 or just
1/3 stop slower. The rule works.
