Nope, no new 3 lb hammer, just a new handle. I can't throw the head
away as it was my wife's grandfather's hammer. When I inherited it from
her father it didn't have a handle then either.
Reminds me of the story about someone trying to sell George Washington's
hatchet. Claimed it was the original hatchet. The handle had only been
changed 5 times and the head twice. :-)
