Thanks for that, but perhaps you are forgetting that "intimus" is the
superlative of "interior", meaning "inmost". Therefore, taken by itself, it
could mean the "interiors of veins". In which case it might take the plural
feminine form
But I like the phrase, nonetheless, and you are probably right . . .
