Tsk tsk. But I disagree about the plural. Indeed 'intimae' is the plural of
'intima', but it's an adjective, a medical contraction of 'tunica intima
vasorum' - the inner lining of the veins. In this case, 'intima' should
remain in the singular, as all of the veins have but one lining.
I am surprised that you fell into Chuck's deftly crafted trap, Chris ;-)
