Beware of the stage shots, if there are spotlights used the histogram may
not work. ETTR easily gives you burnt face, I prefer highlight warning for
stage shots. I check and adjust the settings frequently to couple with the
stage light changes.

I think I already have my exposure from the prior work unless they've
changed the lights. Your advice is good for a film user but I hardly
use anything but the histogram these days. One or two test shots and I
have my ETTR exposure.
