Accuracy is all that matters, not how 'good' the image looks on the
screen. If the image looks good on screen, but the screen is not accurate,
your prints will not look anything like the screen's 'good' image. If the
screen is accurate, where prints are closely matched to it, and the image
looks bad, it means the image needs edited to make it look good.
