The pro Photographer for Enduro India, Africa etc just uses a nikon D3
with 24-70 and manages very well indeed, he has a padded tankbag, I used
a similar setup with my 5D2 but made the mistake of carry more than one
lens - as I don't have a 24-70 equivalent (still can't bring myself to
fork out for a canyon 24-70 mkII) . Having it in a tankbag makes it
very easy to access and if magnetic to remove and carry when off the bike.
