Have you looked at the history of the canals that Stalin had built, using
political prisoners as slave labor, in the Soviet Union in the 1930s.
Millions died digging those canals by hand in often sub-freezing
conditions, and when the canals were finished, they were found to be
worthless because they were not dug deep enough due to poor planning! A
complete waste of millions of innocent lives.
