Wasn't it so much simpler when we could carry instead of several cameras,
just a few rolls of different film.

I have a K5 for when it is really dark or the weather is bad, an M8 for when
I want the best image quality and the light is decent, and a Fuji X100 as my
"take everywhere" camera. I also dabble with film in my 6x9 Fuji
rangefinder.
I am very pleased with the Pentax, and some of the prime lenses, like the
100mm macro and the 2.4/70mm are very good, even from the point of view of a
Leica shooter.
