I like this quite a lot. Something troubling seems to be happening to me,
though. I immediately saw it as a reverse
angle version of a famous shot, by Weston, I think. Grrrrr, I want to see
images first on their own terms, not through a
screen of referents. Maybe I have to stop looking at 'important' images.

I like this too. Background bokeh is nice and smooth. Foreground bokeh isn't as

Oops, here the bokeh has gone bad, OOF highlights hard edged and moving to dark
centered donuts at the back. A busy,
edgy effect out of sync with what seems to me to be the intent of the shot.

Bokeh that grates on me in a different way than the last one. The reflected
elements are fine, but the edges of the lily
pads are gritty. Probably easy to fix digitally and the process of printing
would likely help in and of itself.
