I finally set aside time to watch this without interruption. It's
interesting to note the distinct differences between British and American
locomotives of this type, the most obvious being that American saddle tank
locomotives usually have the valve gear on the outside, whereas British
designers had it on the inside. This one even has the cylinder linkage on the
inside, so one of the axles must actually be a crankshaft.
