Gary's premise was that many comparative tests only looked at center
sharpness (Photodo etc.), whereas Olympus was just killing the
competition at even performance across the frame. For what it is worth,
his tests let us compare lenses within the system rather than against
systems we weren't necessarily ever going to use. I doubt that there
are better tests done within the resources that were at his disposal.
