No hum here, Ken.
This will be a 33m mast, total height 56m, with an Enercon direct-drive
generator. The only noise I've heard from any of the turbines I've seen is a
light swish from the blades (in a 15kt breeze).
But there is a background hum to our electricity anyway, perhaps because we are
about 50m from a small substation.
