Ah, I see. Forgive me, but I didn't know the reference or the context.
The only thing I could think of was this: We lived in Fresno, CA for a
while, and everyone around there called it "the armpit of California".
And that's where my head went when I read your post, so I wasn't really
sure if navel was better than armpit, hee hee. :-)
