Crops should be the same resolution as the initial file. And that would be
whatever you set up in the preferences. I use 240, mostly because I've always
used 240.
That said, the LR print engine is worth the price of admission by itself.
Absolutely marvelous. I'm thinking by the time LR 4 hits, which has a soft
proofing feature, I may be able to give Windows and Qimage the old heave ho!
and free up more space in the studio for that Epson 7900 I'm drooling over.
