I deleted your message, Piers, with several others, so I have taken a while to
answer.
I'll have to find out about the F-shaped wood, as it doesn't ring a bell with
me. It's too close to Tain range to have been useful when I was flying up
there -- we never flew that close to the range if we weren't in the range
enclosure, as it were.
A few of my former students now fly Tornados and will be familiar with it, I
should think.
