I have always been stumped by LV metering issues with non-system
lenses/macro/T-S. Until a firmware upgrade metering was waaaay off LV
vs normal with the LV being
many stops off.
CH never had as much of an issue for unclear reasons. All behaves
itself with native Canyon mount lenses.
Metering non-LV with a simpler mode (non-evaluative) to ball-park the
exposure seems to be adequate.
I was actually pleasantly surprised that there was a setting solution
to get the T28/T32 to fire in LV mode.
Not a Dr. Noflash in LV anymore, Mike
>Thanks, I'd never read the 5D Mk II manual and wouldn't have suspected
such a thing. I assume it's due to live view's tie-in with movie mode.
Even weirder is the note (bottom of page >113) to use the same disable
function if using an extension tube or tilt-shift lens for (only)
vertical shift. Either case can result in incorrect exposure if disable
is not set. I don't >understand that one.
