A series of great shots Jim. Hand-held, with a 200 asa film and a ? 60+
years-old camera & Canon lens. Look to be tack sharp to me, and the
scanning to CD was no cheap-skate stuff either - for screen use at least.
I'm amazed at the opulence of the Credit Union building. (Maybe I shouldn't
be - most banks splash their funds around on buildings like its going out of
fashion - but it makes me think about where their priorities lie). My own Co-
operative Bank to which I have belonged for more than 50 years has very
modest buildings (all leased as far as I know) and gives better service than
most other banks in NZ. All the big ones in NZ are Australian-owned now.
This is one area where I think patriotism should apply !! (No hard feeling to
the Aust members of this wonderful list - yes I share Chris Trask's and AG's
opinions on this)
However, back to topic- great shots.
Brian Swale.
