Chuck, beware of the "widescreen" displays...unless all you do is watch widescreen movies. A 21" 1600x1200 display has more usable real estate than the common 23-24" displays which are typically 1920x1080. I'd look for 1200 vertical minimum. There are true 4:3 monitors out there still but in the north of $1k bracket. The HP 24" LP2475 has been on my short list for a while but this old Samsung just won't die. <http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824176104> I have heard that Some of the well regarded Dells use the same panel This one looks pretty good too but doesn't have the track record of the 2475. <http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824176174> Mike -- _________________________________________________________________ Options: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/listinfo/olympus Archives: http://lists.thomasclausen.net/mailman/private/olympus/ Themed Olympus Photo Exhibition: http://www.tope.nl/ |
