Hi, Y'all-
Just to pile on the recent thread about batteries, I bought a genuine Olympus
battery through Amazon a couple of months ago. When I got it I found that it
would not take a charge. The light on the charger would only stay constant red
for five minutes or so, and would then start blinking. It never turned green. I
tried charging it several times over several days, and ended up sending it back
for a refund.
Question: Is this new BLM-5 battery safe to use in older cameras that specify
the BLM-1?
Thanks,
