Looks like you got a bad batch. Never seen that problem and I used very cheap
no-name BLM-1's for some time. I'm using five batteries with my 5D2 at present
- two Canon and three knock-offs. Frankly I can't tell the difference between
them, I don't worry about pairing them in the grip and the camera 'reads' the
capacity of the non-genuine ones seamlessly.
