This is the only bloom left in our yard, and it has been giving us some color
for about a week. It appeared on a 5-ft stem that originated below the graft
of this rose bush, so it was not much of a specimen blossom even when fresh,
but it makes up in stamina. Now bowing its head as it reaches the end of its
time, it is still easy to spot, even though it is 80 feet from the house.
