Well, if the wind is strong enough...
I've seen the Maules get pretty heavily modified. A pilot-only with
minimum fuel can get a stock M6 off the ground within the length of
the airplane if he' willing to risk some damage to the tail wheel.
With serious aero mods, that wing can generate a lot of lift even in a
deep stall.
