Right. An 18MB TIFF at 24 bits/pixel is a 6 MP image. No different than the 2000x3000 JPEG images mentioned earlier. There's obviously no JPEG compression but, given the JPEG file sizes mentioned indicate a high quality compression, the differences might be very hard to find.
