The bellows isn't too special, since an OM bellows does exactly what
the converted bellows does and retains the auto aperture using the
double cable. I suspect that the guy had a Pentax bellows, some OM
extension tubes, and a well-equipped machine shop on hand. The lens is
pretty neat, but Gary Reese tested it and found it to be a good, but
not stellar performer. I wouldn't be too surprised if the lens does
better at macro distances than those Gary used to test lenses. I do
remember getting a very positive comment about it from Doris Fang when
I first told the list about it way back when :)
