It also looks quite purty on the DMC-L1. Just took some flower pictures. No
extension tubes and it still gets quite close. Yowza, those backgrounds melt
away.
I did do some brief comparison testing between the two 100's. The
contrasting and color is so different, but the one thing that is plain as
day is how much snap the viewfinder has when you hit critical focus.
My opinion on the greatness of the 100/2.8 is still intact, however. The
lenses draw differently. Each is unique. But you all knew that already.
