Just looked at the calendar. It says today is "Queens' Birthday" in NZ, but
that it is next week in OZ.
Is this due to some calendar inaccuracies, like those that led to the Gregorian
calendar reform?
So that serious Queen aficionados may travel and celebrate (and party hardy)
twice?
So that the Queen (or King) can be there for presents and cake in both counties
when visiting the antipodean members of
the Commonwealth?
Bi-Birthday Curious Moose
PS: don't bother to actually inform me. I've now looked it up - and it's really
boring.
