Charlie,
I'm not a computer professional, but have moved info from older to newer
computers several times. The easiest way to do it physically will be to hook
the new computer up to your network and do the transfer over the network.
I'd look at your installation of PE7 and see if there's a way to "import"
the files, while being sure it is physically moving them to the new machine,
not just linking to them. Otherwise, you may be able to look in Windows
Explorer on the old computer and find the folder the files are in and just
copy it to the same folder location on the new computer. Adobe tech support
could probably advise you on the best way to do it.
Having said all that, I'll bow to anyone with more specific knowledge. I've
used PE3 and 5 and am now using 7, but I have my photo files organized in
a separate folder in a way that makes sense to me, and don't use the
built-in organizer in PE.
