No need to apologize for all the Vulcan shots. It's one impressive a/c. I've
not seen this one in the flesh. I remember seeing all the V bombers at
Farnborough in the early 60s (Valiant, Victor and Vulcan).
Makes a change from the slow trainers and helicopter go-arounds that are part
of Abingdon's usual activities. My Mum lives is Wootton, which is pretty much
at the end of the Abingdon runway. Seems like I'm never there when there's
interesting activity.
Wootton is also on the edge of the Brize Norton approaches. That base gets much
more interesting visitors.
