Chuck,
In the interest of full disclosure, I made the move. Tonight, a Firefox
upgrade offer appeared on my screen, and, after some thought, I accepted it.
I am now running Firefox 4.0.1.
Whether or not this came about as a result of the problems I and several
others encountered with 3.6.17, I cannot say. In the past, when problems
were encountered with a new version, a subsequent version would appear.
I hope I don't suffer too much windburn. ;~)
