Ken,
Following your comments about sharpening E-1 images by selecting a radius of <
1 pixel, I pulled up a RAW image from this morning's wanderings, and processed
it with your thoughts in mind. This shows the leaves at the top of a small oak
seedling that I transplanted yesterday, hoping it will survive and replace a
tree that had to be cut.
I had not been examining the sub-pixel radius settings in RAW processing.
Using that approach for both initial sharpening and final sharpening does seem
to improve the overall sharpness of the E-1 image, at least for this sample. I
will continue to look at this approach.
