I too get those Olympus emails. To me, they arrive a day late and a dollar
short. More Like 60 days late. Everything in those emails I have already
received 30X over from local electronics stores sales circulars. If I had been
in the market for something, I probably would have bought it already. I did
just buy a red digicam, through Amazon but it's a Nikon. I have had a Nikon
Coolpix for years as a pocket grab and go camera and this one is for my
daughter. She wanted stylish and small and Nikon beat Olympus in those
categories IMO.
I also bought an E-PL2 for myself! It's in transit now.
I also just noticed that Olympus has stopped selling via eBay auctions. I had
bought one or two refurbished things via their auctions in the past. If you do
a search on eBay you get directed to Olympus USA.
