Yes, I went crazy, I admit it.
And my wife is always right, no question about that.
Don't assume that everyone in this list is buying stuff to use. There are a
lot of collectors who love to own the equipment and display them with pride.
I remember someone told me that there are many versions of the 50mm f1.8
lens and he has collected all of them. For me, 50mm 1.8 is 50mm 1.8 :)
Believe or not, I am like you. I like to use stuff, not to collect, even
though there is something about Olympus OM that I find incredibly
attractive, just to look at. I went crazy and bought large lots just to get
one piece that I did not have. This explains the volume.
Why I did not use the stuff to take pictures? I tried to explain this. For
you, 2d photographers, you just load the camera and take a picture. For me,
a 3d photographer, is more complicated. I bought the cameras for *twin
camera* stereo. So, I have to match equipment in pairs and find a way to
synchronize them. This takes time. And digital knocked my door. Now, I
don't think I will use film again, and, if I do, I have some nice film
stereo cameras to use. But I will use the OM stuff with digital camera
bodies.

*NINE* varimagni finders and *58* lenses without ever using the stuff
once?
Holy smokes, this is something else other than Zuikoholism... At last
we're
addicted to using the stuff :-) Your wife might be right...
BTW, the use-case for the varimagni is not to "look through an OM
camera"
it's to "take with an OM camera". You should try it sometime!

lenses George has)
