I don't want an FL-40 because I want full TTL compatibility
with my E-1, as Piers Hemy pointed out.
Because I'm still using an E-1, a '36 rather than a '36R is
OK, if the price is right. I would have gone to about $110-120
for an FL-36.
In the end, I avoided the problematic FL-36, and found an FL-
36R for $150.
AG - what experience have you had that you say the FL-36 is
one of Olympus's worst?

>They also have BGN FL-40s for $69 (with guarantee).
