I would presume that on a car of the Volvo's calibre and price, independent
rear suspension would be important, both for handling and ride quality.

Hi Moose,
I just took a quick look at the rear wheel attachment mechanism on my 2007
Volvo V70, while it was on the garage floor, not on a hoist, and it does
appear to be a sophisticated setup, obviously for handling purposes. I
guess I will need to watch all four tires.
