But I will add that I've actually made very little use of my OM Zuiko
glass. When I bought the 5D I also bought a new AF Tokina 28-80/2.8
(since discontinued) and a used AF Tokina 80-200 for a total of $865.
The OM mount lenses that weren't covered by that range were a 17mm
Tokina, 24mm Zuiko, 50/3.5 Zuiko macro and 90/2.5 Vivitar S1 macro. I
also have an 85-250 Zuiko but I rarely ever used it and don't really
count it for the additional 50mm.
Since then I added a Tamron 24-135 and a Tamron 20-40. The 24-135 has
become the standard walk-around lens and the 20-40 has taken over most
wide angle work and often (but not always) displaces the Zuiko 24. The
two Tamrons were both used for which I paid a total of about $200.
As this point I'll probably stick with Canon but the decision to go with
Canon in the first place in order to use the Zuikos ended up (for me at
least) having not very much practical utility. If I had bought Nikon,
for example, I could also have bought similar lenses in Nikon AF mount
for about the same amount of money.
