This morning I had another good look at Gary Reese's lens tests, and now i have to say that I apologise for being so dogmatic about hem to Chuck (and Olympus). Yes, for the lenses under ? 135mm, there are actually some where the OM1 with mirror lock-up did better than the OM4T with mirror lock-up and aperture prefire. I'm not sure why I was so convinced that the OM1 was so useless, but now I see that that is not necessarily so.
