Oh, I have. Every now and then I think about shot discipline, though.
It may have, ah, developed, from the need to conserve expensive film,
but it has some other good qualities, too. I have to admit I'm not
among those looking forward to the day when all cameras are motion
cameras and you pick out the "decisive moment" for a still.
Or maybe we'll be selling frames that project a short loop in them. A
particular wave crashing. A sunset at peak, that sort of thing.
