Every one is different. I left the duct in place and covered a grill on the
lower back side of the cover.
A little fan noise doesn't bother me, as it does CH, but he's right about the
need to suck out the dust once in a while.
I think a big benefit of SATA, beyond electronics, is improved air flow and
easier cleaning inside the case.
